HOW TO MAKE SLIME – WITH VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS

 

Blog takeover alert! My 10 year old wants to share her passion for making slime with my readers so take a break from travel and find out what you can make with some glue and food colouring! She’s watched so many slime making videos she has decided to make her own #toomuchslime

HOW TO MAKE SLIMEĀ 

YOU NEED

PVA glue

Shaving foam (not gel)

Contact lens solution (which has boric acid in which is the ‘activator’)

Food colouring/glitter (optional)

My daughter says that she doesn’t have exact quantities she just mixes till she gets the quantity she wants.

WHAT TO DO

  1. Get your ingredients ready
  2. Measure out your PVA glue
  3. Add your shaving foam
  4. Add your contact lens solution
  5. Mix
  6. Add more shaving foam or contact lens solution if neccessary
  7. Mix and knead
  8. Enjoy – your slime is ready!

    Yes, I experienced the joy of slime myself! My daughter was making a lot of it. At some point, she realized that she had too much, so she decided to use up some of it. She made stress balls, filling up balloons with the stuff. They have so much fun making this stuff – and they are being creative and learning some chemistry in the process. What’s not to like about slime?
