LEGOLAND, WINDSOR, UK: OUR TOP 10 FAVORITE RIDES & ATTRACTIONS

Legoland re-opens in March. If you’re planning a visit to Legoland, Windsor UK visit check out my top tips for planning your day here before you go.

In part 2 of our Legoland info, we give a run down of our top fave rides:

LEGO CITY DRIVING SCHOOL

DDs absolutely love this, we’ve been lucky to go when there haven’t been queues and they have stayed in the car and gone round again. Repeatedly. Till we have begged for them to come off.

THE DRAGON

Our record is 10 times riding the Dragon over a 2 day visit. Its the best ride in Legoland in my opinion. It once broke down with us on it and we were rescued – extra thrills. For younger kids there is a Dragon’s Apprentice Ride.

SQUID SURFERS

You go on in pairs and people try to shoot you with water. You will get wet. Its a whole lot of fun. Q bots cant be used on this ride so head there first.

VIKING’S RIVER SPLASH

Lots and lots of water this time buckets of the stuff down your back. Lots and lots of fun and hilarity. I tried to put my brolly up once, they told me to put it away. There is no escape from the deluge. If you have a plastic poncho – now is the time to wear it.

LASER RAIDERS

Queues can be long for this ride so head there first, Q Bots can’t be used unless you pay an additional fee. This is an indoor ride where you accumulate points for all the targets that you shoot with your laser. Competition knows no bounds.

JOLLY ROCKER

Known in our family as the Pirate ship that makes your tummy go funny. Sit at the back for maximum tummy-funniness.

Ahoy me hearties you will get wet on this log flume and thus will suffer a bad hair day for the rest of the day. Admire the terrific Lego detailing as you make your way to the top.

FAIRYTALE BROOK

The kids didn’t want to go on. I made them. Fun for tiny ones and parents that want 5 mins with their feet up, watching fairy tale characters brought to life through lego.

FIRE ACADEMY

Fire Academy is a hoot, you all board a fire engine and hot foot it to a lego house ‘on fire’ where you have to put it out. Teamwork, otherwise known as shouting at eachother, is needed.

SCARAB BOUNCERS

This one is at the exit of Laser Raiders. Its a small quick ride but my kids love it.

That’s our favourite rides- let me know what yours are!

Cool! We’ve been to Legoland Germany (they have a Dragon roller coaster too; being Germany, it never breaks down 😉 ) and hope to visit the original in Denmark later this year, but didn’t know there was one in England. Our kids would love all these rides and attractions, for sure! Thanks for the info!! #FearlessFamTrav

I went to LEGOLAND years ago but made the mistake of going when the weather was rubbish. We are going to go this year but will make sure it’s sunny so we can enjoy the waterpark this time! #fearlessfamtrav

This is such a great guide! I didnt know half of these rides were there, I think we probably went/found one of these maybe when we went two summers ago. We’d like to take the littles at some point later this year so I’ll definitely be coming back to this list 🙂 Fab post, thanks for sharing it on #MarvMondays. Emily
